Someone reset Tyler Matzek’s wikipedia page and it’s gold

It’s not whether, but when, the Atlanta Braves will erect a Tyler Matzek statue at The Battery.

No pitcher has been more eye-catching during the Atlanta Braves’ World Series run than left-hander Tyler Matzek.

The left-handed lifter regularly pumps ice through his veins. In the greatest moment of his life in Game 6 of the 2021 NLCS, Matzek entered late in the seventh inning with the Braves ahead 4-2 over the Los Angeles Dodgers without an out and runners in the second and third. He hit the side, including punches from Albert Pujols and Mookie Betts to save the season.

Matzek pitched a scoreless eighth inning in his second inning of work for the night. If you have any doubts about her beloved Braves Country personality, check out this impromptu update from her Wikipedia page. No, this update is not safe for work.

Tyler Matzek gets NSFW update on his Wikipedia page after NLCS win

For a guy who developed the yips playing for the Colorado Rockies from Walt Weiss half a decade ago, that’s a big reason Matzek, Weiss and the Braves go to the World Series, what a remarkable story. The last time the Braves won the NL pennant, their beloved bench coach played the shortstop for Atlanta and made the game of his life in the NLDS against… the Houston Astros.

Matzek may never be taller in his life, but that moment and that screenshot will live on forever.
