Little Miss and Mr Men memes: how to create your own

If you’ve been on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok in the past few days, you may have seen mister men and little miss memes popping up all over the place.

Now, if you are a child of a certain age, you might fondly remember the children’s books Mr Men and Little Miss written by Roger Hargreaves.

They started publishing the books in 1971 and as of 2021, 92 characters have been featured in the series. These include Mr Greedy, Mr Happy, Mr Sneezy, Little Miss Neat, Little Miss Naughty and Little Miss Chatterbox. Our favorite was Mr Tickle!

Anyway, aside from the funny characters, one of the most iconic things about the books was their remarkably simple and eye-catching front covers that only featured the character and the name of the book in bold type.

The meme around them involves people simply making their own covers and the vast majority of them are Little Miss Ones.

Now you’re probably wondering how you make your own. We no longer wonder.

So there are two options here and neither is easy but could fuel your meme cravings. First, you can visit the Instagram page @littlemissnotesapplittlemissnotesapp which already has many different Little Miss and Mr Men characters that you can use from there, but maybe ask permission first.

The other option is a little more technical and depends on how good your photo editing skills are. You will first need to take a pre-existing character from the Litte Miss or Mr Men wiki pages and then modify the name as desired.

As simple as that. Create and enjoy.
