For a short time Tuesday night, John Delaney’s Wikipedia page said the former congressman from Maryland died during the Democratic presidential primary debate in Detroit.
Cause of death?
Elizabeth Warren.
fake edition, spotted on Twitter by Young Turk reporter Ken Klippenstein, came after the two presidential hopefuls sparred over the practicality of progressive policies that Democrats like Warren have advocated on the national stage.
“Democrats win when we run on real solutions, not impossible promises — when we run on things that are doable, not a fairy tale economy,” Delaney said.
Lawmakers should work to encourage relationships between government and the private and nonprofit sectors to “focus on those kitchen table, pocketbook issues” like creating jobs, improving wages and building new infrastructure, Delaney said.
Warren was quick to respond.
“You know, I don’t understand why anyone would bother running for President of the United States just to talk about what we really can’t do and shouldn’t be fighting for,” he said. said the Massachusetts senator to applause.
