It has been 10 years since Game of thrones first aired on HBO. The graphic decor of the show was simply breathtaking. Most of the filming locations for the series are in Northern Ireland. However, some of the iconic scenes were filmed in Spain. The show’s next prequel, Dragon house, had already confirmed his main filming location at Leavesden Studios at Watford last year. Recently, a few more filming locations have been revealed, including a return to the exotic Spanish locations used in Game of Thrones and a few new spots in Portugal.
As reported by local Spanish newspaper Hoy, House of The Dragon will be filmed in Cáceres and Trujillo in Spain. Both represented the landing of the king in season seven of the original series. The old streets of Cáceres have been shown most prominently as the capital of the Seven Kingdoms, particularly when Euron scroll through the survivors Sands and his niece Yara captives in the streets towards the red keep. Cáceres also appeared as Old City, when sat and Gilly left town at the end of the season. During this time, Trujillo Castle was used to represent the outer walls of King’s Landing as I like and Bronn supervised the arrival of Without a stain.
According to Hoy, HBO production will also move from Spain to the neighboring country of Portugal. But it is not known which sites will be used for the filming.

After making viewers wait for nearly a year, Dragon house started production earlier in April this year. Fans are already excited about the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, as leaked footage of the filming sites continues to appear on the internet. The show is also the first project to be filmed on Warner Bros United Kingdom new virtual stage configuration at Leavesden studios, which is also his main filming location.
Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden (WBSL), UK, has expanded its facilities with the launch of three new sound stages and V Stage, a virtual production stage.
House of the Dragon is confirmed as the first production to use the new facilities. In addition to the studios’ expansive exterior backlot, V Stage will allow the series to expand its existing variety of international landscapes.
Some 83,000 square feet of additional production space will be available at the UK site. The V Stage, one of the largest virtual production stages in Europe, offers 24,000 square feet of total space, and the interior will feature a 7,100 square foot room. Foot-wrapped virtual production environment, using an array of over 2,600 LED panels integrated into a state-of-the-art processing system. A dynamic ceiling provides an additional 5,544 square feet of LED panels with eight sections that operate independently of each other, lifting and tilting to deliver a new level of creativity.

“A production with the ambition and scale of ‘House of the Dragon’ really requires a studio capable of providing state of the art facilities ”, noted Janet Graham Borba, executive vice president, west coast production, HBO. “The new virtual stage adds to the very supportive reception center for the show in Leavesden and allows us to take full advantage of the latest technological developments.”

The new series brought viewers to the edge of their seats, when the mid-season credits roll, and it was revealed that the God of Evil is still alive. And it didn’t end there, the TV show featured different versions of Loki, which had never before been seen in live-action. One of the most mysterious characters among them, the Boastful loki, is played by Game of thrones alum DeObia Oparei (Areo Hotah, captain of that of Prince Doran Martell guards). What’s even more surprising is the fact, unlike every version of Loki we’ve seen so far, this one looks the strongest and has its own. Mjolnir. Yes, you heard right! that of Thor the legendary enchanted hammer Mjolnir!
After recovering from his last false death at the end of Loki Episode 4, “The Nexus Event”, Loki Variant L1130 comes face to face with four new Loki Variants. They include Old Loki (far right), in the middle is Child Loki, on the left is Boastful Loki played by Oparei, and finally there is little Crocodile Loki held by Kid Loki in the center.
Not much is known about Boastful Loki yet, except that he uses his own version of Mjolnir. Oparei is really excited to be a part of the show, as evidenced by her recent Twitter post.

There are many theories about who Loki is boastful. Some say it comes from a timeline where Thor died and he stood up to pick up his coat. Others say he comes from a temporal branch where he was born as an Asgardian. We do not know yet. All we can do is wait for Episode 5 of Loki which is scheduled to air on Disney + on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Tourism Ireland has done more to stimulate this sector, asserting itself as a leading tourist site specifically dedicated to entertainment. Tourism Ireland ‘Glass of Thrones‘stained glass windows, which were created as part of Tourism Ireland’s Game of Thrones campaign to showcase and celebrate Northern Ireland as “Game of Thrones Territory”During the broadcast of the final season of the popular fantasy TV show in 2019, were on permanent display in Belfast.
Tourism Ireland said on its website, “Tourism Ireland donated its six Glass of Thrones stained glass windows to Maritime Belfast Trust (formerly Titanic Foundation Limited). The windows are now on permanent display in the Titanic Quarter and are part of Belfast’s Maritime Mile.
“The beautifully designed windows were installed around Belfast in 2019 – to present and celebrate Northern Ireland as ‘Game of Thrones land’ to millions of fans of the TV series around the world. The windows – each of which represented a key house on the show – marked a decade of filming and production in Northern Ireland, and the installation was timed to coincide with the airing of the final season. The campaign – called ‘Glass of Thrones’ – was created by Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI, in partnership with HBO. “
