Bizarre detail on Nadia Bartel’s Wikipedia page

Bizarre details on Nadia Bartel’s Wikipedia page remain unchanged for MONTHS despite being completely untrue

Nadia Bartel was the victim of a strange act of vandalism on Wikipedia.

For several months his Wikipedia page listed his middle name as “Lorraine” – even though the former AFL WAG does not have a middle name.

An anonymous user quietly edited the article on October 25, 2021, to list her full name as “Nadia Lorraine Bartel (née Coppolino)”.

What a pity! Nadia Bartel was the victim of a strange act of vandalism on Wikipedia

This subtle change went unnoticed until January 12, when another anonymous user – possibly Nadia herself – corrected the article and removed “Lorraine” from her name.

In the revision history log, the user noted: “Removed Lorraine as middle name because she doesn’t have a middle name, so the information is not correct.”

It is unclear why the vandal changed Nadia’s name on his Wikipedia page, which had only been created a month earlier, on September 4, 2021.

The name Lorraine is of French origin and is not a common first name for Italian girls.

Nadia has previously described herself as being “from a traditional Italian family”.

The vandal may have edited the Wikipedia article to embarrass Nadia as the name Lorraine is considered quite old-fashioned.
